The unu Scooter is a second-generation model EV scooter from Unu, an electric scooter manufacturer based in Berlin, Germany. It adopts LG rechargeable battery, Bosch motor, and Vodafone app, has a remote control using card and app, and a regenerative brake, and it also has a function that informs the location by GPS if it is stolen.
This first-generation scooter model has already sold 10,000 units in Germany. In the case of the battery, the second-generation model can reach a range of 50 km and takes 7 hours to 100% charge, but it can also be charged from the charging dock, making it easy to charge without going to the charging station. With a spare battery, it can even run up to 100km at a time. It also costs only 1 euro to travel 100 km.
This product is equipped with a Bosch brushless motor and has a top speed of 45km/h. It’s not fast, but the seat can accommodate two people and has a large trunk at the bottom. You can also mount a helmet here.
With the Vodafone app, you can travel to your destination as well as share your keys with others through the app. If it’s stolen, it sends your current location to the app, and there’s a display on the handle, but you can also check the amount of charge through the app.
The price is 2,799 euros for the 2kW model. The 3kW model costs 3,299 euros and the 4kW model costs 3,899 euros. It is currently sold in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and France. Related information can be found here .
