YouTube Music is a collection of songs recommended from users’ viewing trends, Discover Mix, a collection of songs that suit your taste but have not yet been heard, and new songs from your favorite artists. We have made it possible to view personalized playlists such as New Release Mix.
YouTube here announced enhancements to the personalized playlist feature on November 9th (local time). You can add filters for four categories to select playlists to suit your mood and activity. First, arrange up to 7 mix lists on the home screen. There is also a music theme organized through my playlist, which is divided according to artist and song mood by mix list. There is also a playlist called MySupermix that organizes all these playlists. It corresponds to the existing Your Mix.
In addition, four filters are prepared at the top of the mobile app screen: Workout Focus, Break, and Commuting, and playlists by theme are provided. These customized services also provide third-party services such as Spotify, but Google’s emphasis is on analyzing user preferences and finding music that suits them.
