FunKey S is a palm-sized game emulator attached to a key ring. The size of the emulator case is 42.5×44.5×13.8mm, which is less than 5cm wide. Anytime, anywhere you can put it in your pocket and enjoy the game.
The shape is foldable like the Game Boy Advance SP. When folded, it becomes a compact size, and there is no risk of damaging the screen with keys or the like. In addition, it has a built-in sensor that automatically saves the game when it is closed and turns off the power and turns on when it is opened.
There are various games to emulate, including Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Advance, Sega Mark III, Mega Drive, Game Gear, PS2, Atari Links, Wonder Swan, Neo Geo Pocket, etc. Finding and storing your favorite software for each game console is a heavy labor.
Although small in size, it also has L1 and R1 buttons, and you can turn the power on or off by pressing and holding the menu button. Next to the start button, you can also set a shortcut along with other buttons through Fn. The screen has a 0.5W speaker at a 50Hz refresh rate. It also comes with an LED that indicates when the charging amount is insufficient or charging.
In order to select a game for the console on a small screen or change various settings, FunKey-OS, an operating system suitable for this size, was developed, and the game console logo, controller silhouette, and game cover image can be visually selected. In addition, it runs at high speed within 5 seconds when completely turned off, and you can add games or play USB memory.
