SpaceX Starship SN8 as re-edited video

SpaceX’s Starship SN8 altitude elevation test echoed images of explosions caused by landing failures. However, in this test, posture control was a major challenge when Starship fell, and CEO Elon Musk said it was a success.

After two weeks of testing, SpaceX released a re-edited video of the SN8 advanced test more easily than the live broadcast on the day. In the video, a speech bubble description was added to the actual video, so that you can see what the Starship was doing at the time. You can see that it was due to the release of liquid oxygen that reached the highest point in the sky and emit white smoke for a while, or the side flaps work here to convert the gas into a horizontal position and descend while reducing the speed.

Finally, the engine is ignited again and the attitude change control is performed. Considering that it is a 12-story building, it can be said to be surprising.

SpaceX is already ready for the Starship SN9, and the launch pad has also been installed. If the pre-launch test items are less than the SN8 and the regulatory authority’s approval is lost, it is likely to be transferred to a test launch run within this year or early next year.
