HTT and HTT Partnering to Realize Hyperloop

Hyperloop, the next-generation high-speed transportation service proposed by Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, is currently being developed for realization by US Virgin Hyperloop. In addition, in Europe, Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT) is moving to realize a business that has been extensively affiliated with incumbent companies and is burdensome.

For future growth, HTT announced that it has partnered with Ferrovial, an infrastructure company that owns parts of Heathrow Airport and builds roads and transport around the world. Through this, the two companies will cooperate to build a future hyperloop route.

In December, HTT announced a partnership with companies one after another, and Ferrovir is the third. On December 3, it announced a partnership with Altran, a division of Capgemini, a management technology consulting firm. Altran has experience in building railway infrastructure and has cooperated with Taiwan High Speed Rail Consulting and Hyperloop Research conducted by Valencia Tech. Altran is responsible for integrating various fields of technology into the HTT system by making a small contribution to HTT and dispatching 100 people to the HTT development facility in Toulouse, France.

In addition, on December 8th, it made clear a partnership with Hitachi Rail, a major European railway company. In addition to the financial aspect of this partnership, Hitachi Rail will provide real-time monitoring of vehicle operation and signal security ERTMS. ERTMS provides a function to grasp the situation of trains and rails, unifies railroad control where independent standards intersect, and promotes commonization within the EU. In addition, HTT is seeking cooperation with German Hamburg port companies in terms of logistics, and is developing safety guidelines with the German Product Safety Assessment Agency, the Technical Supervisory Association (TÜV Süd).

HTT explained that it was necessary to temporarily close the Toulouse facility during the period of the ban on going out due to Corona 19, but thanks to that, technical research on maintaining the vacuum tube through which the Hyperloop vehicle passes, has been explained. Construction of a concept car that can actually be boarded is lagging behind Virgin Hyperloop, but in order to realize the business, it is pushing for a distributed construction by gathering more time and various engineers. I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
