Elon Musk “Super Heavy Booster, Directly Retrieving From Launcher Intent”

Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, tweeted that in the future, Super Heavy rocket booster vertical landing stands are being removed, and they are thinking of retrieving them directly to the launch pad when retrieving them. The booster will be in the form of bending a grid pin for attitude control on the launch pad rocket fixing arm.

The idea of directly recovering the super heavy booster from the launch pad is not only targeting the Moon and Mars, but also significantly reducing the time it takes to collect and move rockets in starships that require frequent launches due to regular operation between major cities on Earth. It’s a good idea to get rid of it. Musk will be able to relaunch within an hour by installing a new starship on top of the booster as it returns to the launcher.

However, considering the size of the super heavy booster, which is 9m and 70m long, it is certainly not easy. To realize this, delicate control technology is required to lower the huge rocket booster to the correct position even in the midst of the wind.

Nevertheless, in order to launch the Super Heavy more often than the Falcon 9, it is critical to eliminate as much work as possible other than loading fuel and starship until the next launch, and Musk is planning to realize this. In addition, he tweeted about the need to build up to 1,000 starships to build a sustainable city on Mars. It will still take time for all to come true.

I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
