The 11th generation core processor was put on… MS Surface Pro 7+

On January 11 (local time), Microsoft announced a new Surface model, the Surface Pro 7+. As remote work or home work has increased over the past year and this trend is expected to continue in the future, this product is designed to meet the needs of users of such companies or educational institutions. Accordingly, it will be released as an exclusive model for businesses.

The biggest change in the Surface Pro 7+ is that the CPU has been replaced with Tiger Lake-based 11th-generation Core processors i3, i5 and i7. It is said that the performance is 2.1 times higher than the previous model. RAM is at least 8GB, and the top model is 32GB, which has never been. In addition, the Core i5 model also supports LTE, so nano SIM and eSIM can be used.

Not only that, it also features an interchangeable removable SSD that was also adopted in the Surface Laptop 3. The Surface Pro 7+ can be removed without disassembling the main body, but this is not for users to easily increase capacity, but to protect data by removing only the SSD when repairing or disposing of it.

This product uses the flat panel display that was adopted in the Surface Pro X, so there is room in the interior and the battery capacity has increased. The battery usage time is up to 15 hours from the existing 10.5 hours, and 13.5 hours for the LTE model. Related information can be found here .
