40% of security experts “Ai will lose jobs by 2030”

In a survey by security firm Trend Micro, more than 40% of cybersecurity leaders say AI will take their jobs by 2030.

The survey conducted by Trend Micro will target 500 executives, including cybersecurity leaders, managers, CIOs, and CTOs, to ask about the future of cyber security. As a result of the survey, when asked if AI could take jobs within the next 10 years, only 9% said they believe they would be stolen, and that AI could never take jobs.

They also said that within 10 years, AI will fully automate all cybersecurity. Senior staff said that 32% of respondents said that within 10 years, data access was incapable of unauthorized access to biometric or DNA data. If reduced to less than five years, 22% of respondents said that the spread of remote work would drastically reduce corporate real estate investment, and 21% said that 5G network and security infrastructure will completely change. In addition, 19% said cyberattacks using AI are generalized, and 15% said security is automated by AI.

Trend Micro is also publishing a 2021 security threat forecast report. In this report, Trend Micro pointed out that cyber attacks are moving toward telecommuting through the expansion of remote work, and revealed that the existing paradigm of protecting the corporate network with a firewall has become useless and comprehensive security measures are needed.
