A motorcycle in the sky? Speeder

Speeder is a flying motorcycle made by JetPack Aviation, a developer of jetpacks.

The speeder is equipped with a 12-inch touch screen and uses two airborne wireless systems, air and ground. The accelerator and brake are located at the rear. The overall design is a form in which the propeller is not visible from the outside, and the driver sits in a forward-leaning position like a regular motorcycle rather than sitting vertically.

The top speed is 240 km/h and can rise up to 4.5 km. Depending on the pilot’s weight or altitude, it can run continuously from 10 to 22 minutes.

This product uses jetpack technology. It was equipped with four turbojet engines, and the pilot weight is said to produce enough propulsion to rise up to 109kg. It is said that it is equipped with a fly-by-wire control system inside, so it can autonomously take a stable posture in the air like a quadcopter drone. It also supports a drone mode that can be operated remotely even if the pilot does not hit it. It is quite noisy about 120dB of driving noise.

Although the speeder is a one-seater, you can also carry luggage if you use a drone in parallel. The product is said to be in preparation for a licensed version and two types of recreational lightweight driving. The licensed version requires a pilot license. The price is $380,000.

This product is scheduled for limited production of 20 units. Related information can be found here .
