Instagram announced on June 18th that it will start displaying ads on the Real feature, which allows users to post videos in 30 seconds or less. Applies to all countries in the world where the reel can be used.
Ads displayed on the reel appear between regular reel posts up to 30 seconds in vertical full screen, just like story ads. You can also comment, like, save, and share the reel ad. And just like any other ad on Instagram, if you’re not interested, you can omit it, hide it, or say you’re not interested.
Reel is a service that Instagram focuses on, such as placing it in the center of the app as a dedicated tab. Considering that Facebook’s main source of income is advertising, it can be said that it is a natural flow to place advertisements here. What’s better is how creative advertising can be done so that users do not turn away, but this can vary depending on the company’s efforts. Considering that you can share and comment, there is a possibility that you will enjoy popularity with products and services that became a hot topic in reel advertisements.
