iOS version of Alexa, calls directly from the home widget

In iOS 14, the widget function has been greatly enhanced, allowing it to be placed side by side with the app icon on the home screen. These widgets are also available in the iOS version of the Alexa app, allowing you to invoke Alexa with a single click on the home screen.

The iOS version of the Alexa app update history succinctly states that in iOS 14 and later, the Alexa widget can be added to the home screen and you can talk to Alexa by tapping the widget. To add the Alexa widget, touch and hold the home screen on an iPhone equipped with Face ID, then press the + button in the upper left corner. Choose the Alexa app from here, and the rest can call your voice assistant with just a click.

The Game Center widget also lets you play across devices and find games your friends are playing. As an App Store widget, you can view events within the Today Tab Story Collection app on the home screen. The sleep widget allows you to check your sleep time or review your sleep schedule.
