Google has started distributing Android 12 Beta 4, the latest beta version of Android.
Android 12, which is scheduled to be officially released in the fall, is based on the introduction of a new design, Material You, as the main framework, but according to Google, at the time of beta 4, API and function development for all applications has been completed. Also, the next beta version, which will be released in a few weeks, will be the last beta version.
As mentioned earlier, Android 12 has finished developing basic features, so no major feature additions have been confirmed in Beta 4. However, there are some notable changes. The ability to easily share recently used app images, easier starting of the game dashboard, adding a Material U style Easter egg, and changing the Google logo of Pixel Launcher to a Material U design.
In addition, Android 12 is expected to be released around the same time as the Pixel 6 series, which is scheduled to be released in the fall, but considering that it includes features unique to the recent Pixel series, the Pixel 6 may have new features that have not been introduced yet.
Android 12 Beta 4 can be tested not only on the Pixel but also on partner products such as OnePlus, Xiaomi, and ZTE in China. Of course, when testing, it should be taken into account that the user is solely responsible. Related information can be found here.
