Tesla, Supercharger Other Makers Open Test

Tesla has started a pilot program to make it possible to use the supercharger network that Tesla is developing for its EVs in vehicles other than Tesla. Ultimately, it is a policy to allow the use of superchargers worldwide regardless of whether they are Tesla or non-Tesla vehicles.

Since the first supercharger was installed in 2012, more than 25,000 units have been deployed around the world for the ninth year. It has a fast charging speed, high reliability, and increases the convenience of Tesla electric vehicles, but unlike gas stations, it cannot be used except for Tesla vehicles.

However, CEO Elon Musk had previously been thinking about making the supercharger available for non-Tesla EVs, and this time, he started a pilot program that can charge EVs other than Tesla at 10 superchargers in the Netherlands.

Tesla app version 4.2.3 or later is required to use, and it is only open to EV drivers living in the Netherlands. However, the target is expected to expand in the future, and in the future, as long as there is available capacity, it is expected that any supercharger will be able to charge vehicles other than Tesla. It is said that the usage price is not different from Tesla or non-Tesla users. Related information can be found here.

I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
