Deep Mind AI and open battle in StarCraft 2?

Alphabet’s Deep Mind, which created AlphaGo, an AI for Go, is also overwhelming top players with AlphaStar, an AI for StarCraft 2, a real-time strategy game. For the additional learning of Alpha Star, it is said to introduce an option that allows anyone to fight Alpha Star.

According to the official StarCraft 2 website, the Deep Mind button will appear in the 1:1 match menu. By pressing this button, you can fight Alpha Star. It is said that online and offline can be switched freely later.

Also, just because you can fight doesn’t mean that your opponent is an Alpha Star. The opposing candidate only includes Alphastar. It is difficult for the player to know if they are against Alpha Star because Alpha Star does not directly reveal whether it is an Alpha Star, but is mixed as one of the anonymous players. It does not reveal how likely it is to fight to remain anonymous.

Alphastar is already showing the power overwhelming the top players, so if you simply play against it, you may not be able to compete with a normal player. Therefore, it is said that the number of effective operations per second and per minute was imposed on the integrated AlphaStar. The specific number is unknown.

Button options related to Deep Mind will be introduced in Europe, and it is not known whether or when it will be introduced in other regions. Related information can be found here .

I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
