100% electric’Mini Cooper SE’ released

BMW has announced the MINI Cooper SE. The Mini Cooper SE, announced during an event in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is the first mini-production electric vehicle. Production of this electric car is expected to start in November and enter the market from next year.

According to the official announcement, the Mini Cooper SE supports 270 km of continuous driving range and the zero back is 7.3 seconds. The charging capacity is bound to be small, but Bernd Koerber, senior vice president of Mini, emphasizes that it is a cart-like urban vehicle.

The design is similar to the recent Mini Cooper. It has a 32.6kWh battery inside, and it is said that it can be charged to 80% in 35 minutes by using the fast charging facility. A standard home charging cable can charge it at home, 80% in 2 hours and 100% in 3 and a half hours.

According to a T&E (European Federation of Transport and Environment) study, there are five electric vehicle ports in public charging facilities across Europe. Looking at this point, you may not feel much stress even when charging the vehicle. Related information can be found here .
