What is the 2019 version of THX Deep Note?

THX conducts evaluations for theater or DVD sound, and if it meets the standards, it is THX certified. When you watch these THX-certified theaters or DVDs, a THX-certified sound comes out before the video starts. This is the so-called Deep Note, where a low, buzzing sound resonates with the THX logo.

Deep Note was first created in 1982 by James Moorer, who worked for NeXT, a company founded by former Apple founder Steve Jobs. However, the latest version of Deep Note 2019, which has a long history, was released.

In addition to the latest version of Deep Note, you can also watch interview videos of people who participated in the 2019 edition. Producer Ben Rosenblatt recalls that he grew up with a THX trailer and that the THX trailer has always been with him whenever he sees his favorite movies in the theater. Andrew Kramer, who directed animation and visual effects, was also excited to be involved in making such a deep note that the THX trailer was part of the movie experience.

The 2019 version of Deep Note has continued for a year since 2018. The 2019 edition is said to have been inspired by the past THX trailer.

Through the monthly AHC PC and HowPC magazine era, he has watched 'technology age' in online IT media such as ZDNet, electronic newspaper Internet manager, editor of Consumer Journal Ivers, TechHolic publisher, and editor of Venture Square. I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
