A beta version of Minecraft Earth for Android is coming out. Minecraft Earth is a game that allows you to enjoy Minecraft with augmented reality that stacks virtual blocks in real space by touching your smartphone. Like Pokemon Go, it includes elements to collect blocks and mobs in real space, as well as to cooperate with colleagues to quests such as mining or battles appearing in specific locations.
Minecraft Earth is currently conducting a closed beta test by invitation in five cities including Seattle, London, Stockholm, Tokyo, and Mexico City. The iOS version was pre-released in July.
You can pre-register for the beta version on Microsoft’s official Minecraft Earth page. As with Minecraft on other platforms, you must have a free Microsoft account or an Xbox Live account. Also, applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
The required specifications for Minecraft Earth for Android are that the operating system must be Android 7 or higher and a model that supports ARCore, an AR platform. Related information can be found here .
