It is said that the number of block chain and cryptocurrency-related lobby activities in the United States has tripled over the past year.
Reportedly, lobbying for cryptocurrency or blockchain in Washington DC increased from 12 at the end of 2017 to 33 at the end of 2018.
Coincenter, a think tank related to blockchain cryptocurrency, estimates that the increase in lobbying activity is accelerating according to security regulations. Blockchain companies are having more difficulty in implementing technologies other than cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin. Blockchain companies are still in the early stages of obtaining collaborators from Congress.
Crane Johnson Group co-founder, lobbying for the Internet Security Alliance to protect the U.S. Internet values, initiated by Ripple, said that as many people as possible are legitimately speaking up when introducing new technologies and platforms into a long, strictly regulated area. Emphasize that there is a need to raise and take action.
