Even the sense of the finger… Facebook table VR tactile feedback

Facebook Reality Labs introduced a tactile feedback device called Tasbi, which is mounted on the arm during the World Haptics Conference 2019 held in Japan from July 9 to 12.

This product, when attached one by one on both arms, reproduces the feeling when performing actions such as picking up objects or touching faces in VR or AR environments. It is said that if you attach it to your arm, you can get the sensation of touching it with your fingertips by vibration even without touching your finger directly.

However, Tasby itself does not have a function to track hand or finger movements, and a separate VR head sensor camera image must be used. In addition, this product is not officially announced, but is expected to be announced through research papers. Related information can be found here .

I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
