Virtual reality is now… Amazon introduced Prime VR

Amazon introduced Amazon Prime VR, a service that can be used as a virtual reality headset on July 24 (local time).

Supported devices are Oculus Go, Oculus Quest, and Samsung Gear VR 3 series. Currently only available in the UK and the US. According to Amazon’s announcement, the Prime VR app allows you to subscribe to Amazon’s original program channels and watch live events. In other words, it targets the entire Prime Video, an exclusive video service for prime members.

The app also supports voice content search. When wearing a virtual reality headset, text input is likely to be an obstacle. It is cumbersome to type letters one by one with a virtual keyboard on a controller in your hand. What helps in this case.

It also has a variety of contents created for virtual reality. You can watch virtual reality programs like Jack Ryan and Grand Tour. Also, according to Oculus’ official blog, you can also enjoy carefully selected 360-degree content such as Greenland Melting and Invasion!, which are documentaries on climate change.
