Laguna Seca is a circuit located in Monterrey, California. It is located on Weathertec Raceway 68 on the Monterey and Salinas Highways. Here, a video of Tesla’s Model S with its next-generation powertrain Plaid and a prototype chassis mounted on a time attack is released, drawing attention.
In the video, Model S set a record of 555 at 1 minute and 36 seconds. It is said to be one second ahead of the highest speed record for a four-door sedan in Laguna Seka. The maximum speed in the straight line was 207 km/h.

The PLADE powertrain, which has three motors, has improved performance more than before.
