Segway announced two electric off-road bikes, the X160 and X260. These products can be customized by exchanging standardized motor parts, and batteries are also removable, making replacement easy.
Among the announced models, the lightweight X160 is more agile than strength. It has a range of 65 km and a top speed of 50 km/h. On the other hand, the X260 has a range of 120 km and a maximum speed of 75 km/h.
Both models are for off-road use, but provide sufficient practicality for general use. The product launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020, and the price is $3,000 for the X160 and $4,500 for the X260.
Meanwhile, Segway will launch an early reservation campaign for these models from November 25 through Indigogo, a crowdfunding site. Related information can be found here .
