Foldable e-scooter made by Hyundai

It is a prototype of the foldable e-scooter that Hyundai Motor Company announced during CES 2017.

This system is compact enough to hold the grip when folded. It weighs 7.7kg. The range is 20 km and the top speed is 20 km/h. It is designed to be charged while carrying it in a Hyundai or Kia car. When driving, it is linked with a smartphone to show the charging amount and speed, and headlights and taillights are installed before and after, so night driving can be safely performed. It is also planning to install regenerative brakes to increase the range by 7%.

The scooter is aimed at stopping the car and traveling the last mile to the final destination. The car is no longer needed when it arrives at its destination, but it is intended to be able to reach the last point via auxiliary means of transportation. Related information can be found here .
