New technology company to replace fossil fuels with solar energy?

Heliogen is a clean energy company backed by Bill Gates. The company announced that it has developed a solar energy system that generates heat as high as 1,000 degrees Celsius using artificial intelligence. The weakness of the technology that uses solar power as an energy source is that it is not efficient enough to withstand the commercial level so far. However, Haliogen is realizing a breakthrough technology that can be used in the cement and steel industries as well, and hope to reduce costs.

Haliogen is developing an energy system that uses sunlight instead of fossil fuels. This technology is an improvement of a condensing solar power generation system different from the existing solar power generation, which collects solar energy from a panel installed on the roof. The technology itself, which uses mirrors to reflect sunlight, is not new.

Halogen development is being done by engineers from the California Institute of Technology and MIT. To date, solar power has not replaced fossil fuels in efficiency. There was a problem that the condensed solar power generation system could not produce a high enough temperature for commercial use. However, halogens produce high-temperature heat from the sun, providing an alternative to the use of commercial-scale fossil fuel energy without carbon dioxide emissions.

Fossil fuels have been used even though they know that they are harmful in the cement industry, steel industry, and mining industry. However, using halogen technology, these industries can also be replaced by solar energy. What’s more, energy costs can be significantly reduced, carbon emissions are reduced, and companies’ sustainability goals can be met.

At the Haliogen facility, polygonal mirrors line up at regular intervals. This mirror changes direction according to the position of the sun. Haliogen is designed to bring the sun together through learning using artificial intelligence. It is possible to strictly adjust the direction of 1,000 mirrors and collect the sun to generate high temperatures. Explain that if Haliogen uses fuel made from the sun, it can also be used in cars, aircraft and heavy equipment.

Halyogen is first focused on creating green hydrogen and is in the process of finding commercial partners and customers. In addition to Bill Gates, Haliogen is also supported by LA Times owner and billionaire Patrick Soon-Shiong. He is also a board member of Halyogen, and he also said that Haliogen technology has great potential for humanity and that the business potential is immeasurable. Through the monthly AHC PC and HowPC magazine era, he has watched 'technology age' in online IT media such as ZDNet, electronic newspaper Internet manager, editor of Consumer Journal Ivers, TechHolic publisher, and editor of Venture Square. I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
