Amazon’s Indian subsidiary launches Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker Edition in the Indian market on December 18th. It is a portable eco device with a built-in battery and costs 4,999 rupees.
This product is equipped with a 4,800mAh battery and can play music continuously for up to 10 hours. It is portable, but measures 72×102×102mm and weighs 448g. It can be seen that the purpose is to be able to carry around freely in the house rather than to carry it lightly in a bag.
This product can be said to be a form of adding a battery to the existing Amazon Echo, and unlike the existing Echo device, it does not support external audio output. Of course, the portable Alexa device with battery was released in the United States in 2016, but production stopped without a follow-up model. However, in India, the demand for Dongseoeng is high, so a new model was introduced in this market.
