Star Wars plastic bottle that the lightsaber really shines

Coca-Cola unveiled a PET bottle decorated with a lightsaber that shines using OLED as part of the movie Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which will be released in December.

The shiny lightsaber designs are two types: Ray with blue and Cairo Ren with red. On each PET label, an electronic circuit that responds to static electricity on a hand or finger is printed, and when you touch it with your hand, the lightsaber expressed in OLED shines.

According to an official at Coca-Cola Singapore, the time to emit light from a plastic bottle is between 40 minutes and 1 hour, and in 5 seconds, it can emit 500 times. However, this bottle only sells in limited quantities of 8,000 produced according to the campaign. The opportunity to obtain it is also 3 times on December 6-8, 13-18, and 20-22, and is limited to stores that are supplied in limited editions at convenience stores across Singapore. Anyone who wants to find a store based on hints hidden on the official site, Facebook, or Instagram.

This strategy is aimed at preventing hobbyists from hoarding, so fans need to traverse convenience stores in Singapore to get PET bottles at an affordable price. Related information can be found here .
