Night Shift is a function that warms the screen and reduces the burden on the eyes used on iPhones and Macs. Of course, there is also a Dark Mode that turns the screen tone into a dark type. However, there are reports that these functions can adversely affect sleep.
According to a research team at the University of Manchester, the decrease in blue light and blue light caused by night shift may confuse the biological clock. What is important to the internal clock is that it is not the color of the light, but the brightness level, which weakens the light from the blue light so that you can feel as comfortable as warm.
The research team is verifying the results of this study in an experimental rat test. The research team revealed that the results are expected to be sufficiently applicable to humans. The results of this study still require empirical experiments. Related information can be found here .
