Wireless earphones sold 350 million units annually

In 2019, numerous companies entered the wireless earphone market. The data released by market research firm Canalys deals with data on wireless earphones, which can be called true wireless stereos in the field of smart personal audio devices.

According to this, shipments in the third quarter, including wireless earphones and wireless headphones, were 96.7 million units, a 53% increase from the previous year. The fourth quarter exceeded 100 million and is expected to reach 350 million annually.
