Frekvens is an audio collection in collaboration between IKEA and Teenage Engineering. In the catalog, not only speakers and lights, but also tables, chairs, and cushions appear. Various items and furniture are arranged using the concept of a home party.
Each speaker and light can be combined by DIY. They can be hung on a stand, stacked in 2×3 blocks, or combine speakers and floor lights. It is also possible to combine indirect lighting and living room speakers. They cost $70 each for speakers, $149 for a subwoofer, $17 to $40 for lights, and $60 for a stand.
Teen Age Engineering emphasized that there is no need to hide the speakers, saying that the speakers are furniture. In Northern Europe, where there are many cloudy skies, there is a tendency to brighten the mood by introducing bright colors to life, but the same trend can be seen in Precvens. It is designed to give a point to the room through bright colors and curiosity-inspiring molding.
