Motorola has unveiled a video of the durability test of its foldable smartphone Moto Razr. Manufacturers said that there are wrinkles on the screen even before launch, but they are showing confidence in the durability of the terminal itself. The opening and closing test video of opening and closing the laser screen was released on the company’s official channel.
Motorola explained through a video that it has durability that can be used for several years, assuming daily use in reality. It is also the answer to the durability test reported by Cnet. In the Cnet durability test, the test was finished at 27,000 times. It is calculated that if you open and close 80 to 150 times a day, it will be broken in half a year. Motorola countered the test as using test equipment that was not suitable for laser durability testing.
Of course, the most notable thing in the Cnet test was the hinge, not the screen. Since the screen has survived 27,000 times, in some sense, the durability of the laser can be expected. For reference, in the case of Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Fold, the screen was broken at 12,169 times in the same durability test of Cnet in the past. In addition, as Samsung Electronics will also announce the tentatively named Galaxy Z Flip, attention is drawn to how durability will be.
