Élever has a hand mirror-like appearance, but it is a makeup printer that recognizes faces using 3D technology and equipped with AI. When the makeup viewed on SNS is specified, AI analyzes the makeup image and sprays it on the user’s face. It is still a concept design, but if it is actually commercialized, the beauty industry itself may change.
Now, what consumers refer to when applying makeup is makeup released by beauty bloggers and other influencers. SNS serves as a source of makeup trends, and when such a trend spreads, it spreads all over the world in no time. For this reason, the beauty industry may not be able to match the existing product development cycle to the pace of trend evolution.
We’re proud to announce #Élever , our second of three concepts to come out of our two year global research project- ‘Understanding Beauty Consumers’ which follows from our #Identité concept released last year. #Seymourpowell #FutureofBeauty #ShapetheFuture pic.twitter.com/HfhSBXezjc

However, in this case, if there is a product such as TV, there is no need to feel frustrated by the delay time it takes to reflect the makeup trend on the product. Consumers who don’t buy new items will be able to follow makeup in real time on social media.
The concept design was presented by Seymourpowell, a design consulting firm based in London, UK. He proposed a new sales technique by paying attention to the influence of makeup on SNS. In the cosmetics industry, there are also AR apps that allow you to test cosmetics virtually. There are many concerns about facial recognition technology, but the area where the technology can be used with confidence may be in the beauty field. Related information can be found here .
