Lexus has been holding the Lexus Design Award since 2013. In 2020, six of the entries from all over the world were nominated. Notable among these is LICK, a portable body cleaner made for people in environments where they cannot bathe or shower.
At first glance, this product looks like ammonite, but like a cat’s tongue, water seeps through a sponge that continuously rotates toward the push. It can also be used in unpleasant temperatures or humidity conditions while traveling or hiking.
This product was devised by a woman named Irina Samoilova, studying at Moscow State University. She said she was caring for her grandmother lying on the bed, and she conceived that there were no effective and useful items on the market. This product is expected to be announced at Milan Design Week 2020 in April, and in the near future, it is also aiming for commercialization. It can be expected not only in hospitals and nursing homes, but also in affected areas.
