DRONE DOME C-UAS LASER SYSTEM is a drone destruction laser weapon system developed by Raphael, an Israeli military defense industry. It is a laser device that pursues drones flying 3.4km away.
This system allows drones to be discovered, traced their flight path and irradiated with lasers. This allows you to shoot down the drone. When viewed from the drone camera, it appears to be firing an intense pink glow from a distance, but the pilot of the shot down drone has no idea what happened.
This product is capable of not only hard killing using lasers through a 360-degree radar and camera, but also soft killing that interferes and drops the drone into radio interference. It is installed in bases, power plants, borders, airports, government agencies, and building walls to intercept while minimizing damage caused by flying drones.
According to Raphael, the drone dome can respond to any weather condition by combining it with other systems such as existing sensors. The laser diffuses through fog and rain, but a combination of other sensors can eliminate this. The U.S. military, which has been experimenting with drone laser weapons since 1970, is also introducing drone laser weapons that can fire almost infinitely. Israel also introduced this system, and given many aspects, the laser beam may be the most accurate and efficient. Related information can be found here .
