Facebook introduces app abuse prevention function

When you work at home, you get distracted by smartphone notifications or unintentionally hold it in your hand. To prevent this, features such as screen time and digital well-being are also included in iOS or Android. Facebook also added Quiet Mode for iOS, which prevents app abuse.

With this mode, you will not be able to use applications that mute Facebook notifications for a specified amount of time. When you try to use the application, you can exit the quiet mode, use it for 15 minutes, or choose. The Facebook app has previously been able to check the time using Facebook through the Facebook time item. Quiet mode is an extension of this. In addition, it is said that it is possible to easily control the types of posts displayed in the news feed and notifications received by adding shortcuts for setting notifications and setting news feeds.

As stated earlier, this feature will be released first for iOS and will be available to all iOS users by May. Android version is expected to be released in June. Related information can be found here .

I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
