Discord recently released an update for desktop, web browser and iOS, allowing video calls to be made at the push of a button while on the server and all Discord channels. Discord has been equipped with video chat features since 2017, but previously it was necessary to create a specific chat group for each call.

Discord explained that the improvement of the video chat function was the result of prioritizing the server video function due to the spread of Corona 19 infection. In addition to the new video features, MacOS Safari officially supports Discord, eliminating the need to install standard desktop applications.
