Microsoft has begun distributing the full version of Windows Terminal 1.0.
Windows Terminal is for running command-based applications. It can be used to connect to a server and was announced through the 2019 Developer Conference Build.
The Windows terminal adopts several tabbed interfaces, and you can connect to the server using a command prompt, PowerShell, Windows Subsystem for Linux, or SSH, respectively. You can also split tabs into windows.
Unicode and UTF-8 are supported, and various languages and emoticons can be viewed. In addition to the default font (Cascadia Mono), the latest Cascadia Code is also installed. In addition, through cooperation with the developer (Summon528no), a GIF or image can be displayed in the background of the window. Windows Terminal downloads are available through the Microsoft Store or GitHub. The application is said to be updated monthly from July. Related information can be found here .
