On June 2 (local time), Facebook announced a new feature called Manage Activity, which allows you to delete or archive past posts in bulk. First, it will be provided as a mobile Facebook app and a Facebook Lite app, and will be available in the desktop version.
On Facebook, you can still delete past posts, but selecting posts one by one is a very time consuming task. However, if you use a managed activity, you can filter, such as specifying a date range, and batch deletion becomes easier. Also, if you delete a post, you can get it back within 30 days.
Instead of completely deleting it, you can choose to archive it. Archived posts and photos are invisible to others, but you can check them. Recently, there are many cases of social media checks when working for a job, so I hate to delete them because of precious memories, but if you want to hide mischievous photos or videos, this can be convenient.
Managed Activities will boost functionality over the coming weeks. When available, a menu is added at the top of the activity log screen. Related information can be found here .
