Measures to be taken against Corona 19… CES 2021 summit held

CES, a home appliance exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA in early January every year, announced that it will be held as an offline event normally in 2021.

Various events were brought online or stopped due to the impact of Corona 19 in 2020. It also includes Apple WWDC and Google I/O. Meanwhile, CES operator CTA (Consumer Technology Association) announced through an official announcement that it will host CES 2021 offline, and numerous major companies will participate.

As countermeasures against the COVID-19 infection, countermeasures such as installing a hand sanitizer, widening the aisle of the exhibition area, and the spacing of seats are implemented. It is also said to introduce non-contact temperature inspection. No information is yet known as to whether the event will be scaled down. IFA 2020, which will be held in Berlin, Germany in September this year, is scheduled to strictly restrict visitors, so it is also noted whether similar measures will be introduced.
