Large warehouse transport robot capable of vertical movement

SqUID is a working robot with the name of a squid that moves like a spider. It plays the role of going up and down high shelves in a huge warehouse.

Several robots are active in the warehouse for efficiency and labor cost reduction. In fact, Amazon also operates a robot that transports luggage. Of course, such a robot can only move the floor, but the squid made by BionicHIVE can lift not only the floor but also a vertical column and move the shelf horizontally to carry the intended luggage back to the floor.

The speed of climbing the pillar is 0.85m/sec and the floor can move at 1.8m/sec. Squid can handle luggage up to 15kg, so if you fall within this category, you can get the job done with fully automatic driving. Another advantage is that if you eliminate the forklifts going back and forth in the aisle, you can quickly move loads even near the ceiling, which doubles the shelves inside the body and has a height of 20m.

Squid is an autonomous robot that moves in sync with fellow Squid. It analyzes data in real time using a high-precision control system and computer vision, and determines motion through machine learning and algorithms.

The downside is that the top and bottom width of the shelf must match the width of the squid wheels. The box height is also limited by two-wheel drive. Related information can be found here.

I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
