LinkedIn used the data to analyze the role of the company’s occupations and related technologies over the next five years. According to this, the role of a block-chain developer has increased by a whopping 33 times over the past 12 months. San Francisco, New York and Atlanta are the most hired. The main technologies required for this role are block chain, Etherium cryptography, Node.js, and so on.

Among other emerging occupations, artificial intelligence experts say six out of 15 new emerging jobs are related to AI in some form. Machine learning engineers showed a 12-fold increase from the previous year.
