Will there be a currency in ten years? I asked the Europeans.

63% of European respondents believe that currency will still exist after 10 years, while 49% believe that bit coin will exist even after the same period.

The results of the survey were published by Bit Flyer. The survey was conducted on 10 million residents in Europe, including bit coins and cryptography. The target countries are Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Spain.

Most respondents said they believed that the future of cryptography would still exist ten years later. Saying that more than half of respondents from each country think they will remain in some form. Norwegian respondents were most optimistic at 73%, and France was the most pessimistic at 55%.

On the other hand, the percentage of respondents who answered that they will exist even after 10 years for bit coin is an average of 49%. In the case of French respondents, it was 40%. Italy and Poland were the most optimistic, but 55% and 53%, respectively.

It should be noted that the percentage of Europeans who think that bitcoin will become an investment or securities instrument after 10 years is an average of 7%. Andy Bryant, BitFlyer’s European COO, said the results show that the reputation of cryptography is being established more than over-hyped. He added that the industry needs to be aware of the inherent advantages of block chains and create examples so that the public can understand how block chain technology is going to be used in the future.
