On the front end, reservations can be made with an easy-to-understand interface, and on the back end, the goal is to be able to do whatever the facility manager chores.

If you start self-storage with open units, you can manage single items or track expenses, analyze rates and sales, digitize rental signatures, CRM to manage existing relationships with potential customers, and pay once when processing credit cards instead of monthly payments to facility managers.
