A mysterious monolith found in the Utah wilderness

In Utah, USA, while state authorities were counting wild sheep populations with helicopters in the air as usual, they discovered a strange object surrounded by rocks and glowing. As a result of going down to the ground, it was found that it was a metal pillar reminiscent of the monolith appearing in the 2001 Space Odyssey.

The Utah wildlife support team, who discovered the monolith, unloaded a helicopter nearby and confirmed it. The point of discovery is a wilderness rock with no human trace. Latitude and longitude were not announced due to the high risk of distress, but the location was specified within a few hours of the announcement. The monolith is 3 to 3.6m in height and is close to the height of two adults.

The monolith, which often appears in Stanley Kubrick’s 2001 Space Odyssey, is a pillar that allows intelligence to awaken and evolve into high-end intelligent life when stroked. It is set in the movie that the race with the first function in the universe was sprinkled in space.

However, while the monolith in the movie is 1:4:9, the Utah monolith is a triangular prism. The difference is that the former is black and does not shine, but the latter is metallic.

There are claims that it was made by the sculptor John McCracken, who passed away in 2011, because he has created two pillars with this feeling, but the agent denies that it is not the last thing. There is also the possibility of homage by fans. There are spreading concerns (?) that if a big horn sheep petted it with a joke, it would turn into a high-end intelligent life, but the state of Utah says it is illegal to install an unlicensed art object. I am curious about this market that is still full of vitality.
