Comfortable for your eyes… 25.3 inch e-ink monitor

Paperlike 253 is a huge 25.3 inch e-ink monitor introduced by Dasung, China.

When looking at the monitor alone, compared to a product like a 6-inch Kindle, there is a whopping 17 times difference in terms of area ratio. The resolution is 3200×1800, which is bigger than Full HD supporting 1920×1080 or QHD supporting 2560×1400.

The biggest advantage of course is eye protection. Normal monitors give off all the lights, which puts a strain on the eyes. On the other hand, the e-ink monitor is a method of displaying black and white by moving white and black particles in the microcapsules containing fluid by an electric field, so it is marked with a technology equivalent to drawing with ink on paper, thus reducing the burden on the eyes. Of course, it shouldn’t be colored.

It is equipped with multi-phase technology that realizes fast playback speed and low latency similar to LCD monitors, so you can check the scene that actually renders the video through the video. Since it is 25.3 inches, it can open multiple windows at the same time, and can be used for writing papers, reports, financial transactions, and coding. The monitor can also be placed vertically by rotating the attached arm.

Detailed information such as the launch date has not been disclosed, but the price is expected to be between 10,000 and 20,000 yuan. Related information can be found here .
