Fosil unveils the first LTE-equipped smart watch

Fossil announced on January 11 (local time) the Gen 5 LTE, a smart watch equipped with Wear OS that supports LTE for the first time.

This product is a model that supports LTE based on the existing Zen5. The appearance has also changed slightly, and the case size has grown to 45mm. It supports eSIM, but requires a contract with Verizon, a US mobile carrier to use it. Number sharing service is only available with Android.

In addition, it has a heart rate monitor, sleep measurement, water resistance to 5 atm that can be used when swimming, and NFC support for GPS and has a battery life of 24 hours. The SoC is Wear 3100. The Zen5 LTE is sold in the U.S. for $349, and it has already started accepting reservations through the official website and will launch on January 20th.
