GLA-based compact SUV presented by Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz announced the EQA, a compact SUV-type electric car.

EQA is an electric vehicle based on the SUV, GLA. The first EQA 250 is equipped with a 66.5kWh battery and supports a range of 486km. In addition, a front-wheel drive version with a motor output higher than 200kW and a model with an extended range of 500km are also scheduled to be released.

The infotainment system adopts the 2nd generation version of MBUX that has been fully digitized and physical buttons are removed. In addition, two 7-inch displays and two 10.25-inch displays can be selected for the infotainment cluster and infotainment screen.

The EQA is priced at €39,950 and is expected to be launched in the European market in spring 2021 first. It is noteworthy how much EQA, which can be the benchmark of the next-generation electric vehicle that Mercedes-Benz is planning to use in the future, can attract consumers’ attention.
