Up to 10 inches? TCL folding and winding smartphone concept

TCL unveiled the concept of a foldable smartphone. The name is Fold’n Roll. Fold means folding and roll means winding. The screen size can be adjusted in three steps by folding and rewinding. It starts at 6.87 inches and becomes 8.85 inches when the fold is opened, and up to 10 inches when the screen is extended.

TCL announced that it plans to release a foldable smartphone within this year, but Fold and Roll is a concept image. It seems that the technical problem has not been solved yet, so it is unlikely that it will be released as a product.
