IFA, a consumer electronics show held annually in Berlin, Germany, announced the launch of a full-scale offline event this year.
In 2020, due to the Corona 19 epidemic, various large events have been switched online at once. In the midst of this, IFA 2020 held an offline event locally, but changed the scale to a largely reduced scale to a first-time basis.
However, IFA 2021, which will be held from September 3rd to 7th, will be held at the usual venue, Messe Berlin. According to the IFA, more than 80% of the booths are already reserved. In addition, the event will be held in cooperation with the Public Health Bureau to ensure visitor safety. IFA 2021 also holds a Tech Up for Women and a Berlin Photo Week to revive IFA Next and Shift Mobility while also holding IFA + Summit.
The impact of Corona 19 continues into 2021. CES 2021, a large exhibition, has been held online. In addition, Apple and Google also announced online events. In this regard, it can be seen that the IFA policy is different from other events. Related information can be found here.
