Amazon Game Studios has released a new teaser video for New World, an open world MMORPG game being developed. In this video, important elements of gameplay such as fights and invasion are introduced, and instance dungeon expeditions are also shown.
New World begins the game as an adventurer drifting on the mysterious island of Aeternum, taking the stage of a virtual world that exudes the atmosphere of the 15th to 16th centuries. Various locations, including wilderness and ruins, and three major forces are fighting for power. Gamers must first join one of these to form a group within their faction, or join another group to secure a place.
You can build a house in the village, participate in various social activities, or engage in economic activities. There is also an element of 3 to 5 people partying and exploring instance dungeons or expedition to every corner of the ethernum. Dungeons have their own missions, and items that can only be obtained in that location are prepared.
According to Amazon Game Studio, a story is prepared for each expedition, and you can have a unique experience. The first expedition mission (Amrine Excavation) will be able to leave if the character level is 25 or higher.
Since New World announced its development in 2016, it has continued to postpone. In February of this year, he also announced the performance of attractive functions, including expeditions. The latest release date is August 31, 2021. Anyway, the latest preview video shows much progress compared to the early days, and it raises the expectation that it may be better to add the feature even if it is postponed.
