Windows 10 has some icons built in from the Windows 95 era, but it seems that these icons will be renewed in the latest Windows update report.
If you look at Shell32.DLL in the operating system system distributed through the Windows 10 Insider program, you can check the preview version and the current version icon. In Windows 95, the monitor icon was CRT, but it became a liquid crystal display and the description on the drive side was changed to more abstract. Considering that Windows 95 has been released for more than 25 years, it is natural for the icon to change.
The next major update to Windows is called Sun Valley and is expected to be released this year. Not only the icons but also the overall system design will be reorganized.
